Free Crochet Pattern : Easter Bunny Eggs


Sharing with you guys a simple and quick project that you can make for Easter ! 

Easter Bunny Egg is approximately 7cm tall. 

Materials you need: 

a 3.0 mm crochet pattern 

stuff filling 

8ply Acrylic yarn - white and two other colours of your choice

black yarn / embroidery thread 

yarn needle

Optional : Blusher 

Abbreviations (in U.S crochet terms)

Sc      - Single crochet

Ch     - Chain

St      - Stitch

Inc    - Increase (2 sc in same stitch)

Dec   - Decrease (1sc over 2 stitches)

You will also need to know how to do a magic ring

Crochet pattern 

Egg ( White )

R1    : 10 Sc in Magic ring (10) 

R2   : Inc Around (15)

R3   : * 1 Sc in 2 st , Inc * Repeat Around (20)

R4   : * 1 Sc in 3 st , Inc * Repeat Around (25)

R5-7 : Sc around (25)

Change to colour [1]

R8-9 : Sc around (25) 

R10  : * 1 Sc in 3 st , Dec * Repeat Around (20)

Change to colour [2]

R11   : Sc around (20) 

R12  : Dec Around (10)

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Stuff and appropriate amount of stuff filling. 

Close the gap, Weave tail through last round and secure with a knot 

Ears- Make 2 ( white)

R1    : 8 Sc in Magic ring (8) 

R2-5 : Sc around (8) 

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

1. Sew ears to the egg

2. Using the diagram as a reference, sew the eyes and mouth with black yarn / embroidery thread. 

Optional : Add Blusher to the cheeks for extra cuteness :) 

Your Easter bunny is done! Isn't it very easy to make?? 

You can make them in different colours just like what i did ^^ 

They make great easter gifts , all you need is to attach a keyring and you can bring it anywhere go.
