Free Crochet Pattern: Sushi Scarf

Sushi Scarf , a colourful and fun scarf.
It looks like a simple scarf but when it roll it up , it looks a sushi!
Sushi scarf is a relatively simply pattern to follow.
Completed project is approximately 150 cm by 15 cm excluding the legs.
You may adjust the length according by adding or subtracting rows.

Materials:
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- 8 Ply Yarn:
White, black , yellow , green , red, maroon
( you may also use other colours for your scarf)
- Yarn needle
Abbreviations (in U.S crochet terms)
Sc -Single crochet
Dc -Double Crochet
Hdc -Half Double Crochet
Ch -Chain
St -Stitch
Rep -Repeat
Sl -Slipstitch
Sk -Skip
Fdc -Foundation double crochet

Scarf
Start with red yarn
Row 1 : Fdc 22, Turn (22 Sts)
Row 2-6 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to maroon colour yarn,
Row 7-24 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to yellow colour yarn,
Row 25-37 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to white colour yarn,
Row 38-51 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to light green colour yarn,
Row 52-53 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to white colour yarn,
Row 54-67 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to light green colour yarn,
Row 68-70 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to white colour yarn,
Row 71-94 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Change to Black colour yarn,
Row 95-116 : Ch3, Dc across, Turn (22 Sts)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Knitting Pattern by Craftywithyarn
Size 9 knitting needles, Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Yarn in Red, Yellow, Green, White and Black
CO 35 sts
In Red:
Row1 (WS): Slip 1 purl wise, *p1k1 to end*
Row2 (RS): Slip 1 purl wise, *k1p1 to end*
//Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until desired length
At color change:
Row1 (WS): Knit 1, *p1k1 to end*
Row2 (RS): knit 1, *k1p1 to end*
(Working the first two rows after a color change like this keeps the colors even)
Row3: Slip 1 purl wise, p1k1 to end
Row4: Slip 1 purl wise, k1p1 to end
//repeat last two rows till desired length//
Colors and lengths knitted:
Red: 35 cm
Yellow: 25.5 cm
White: 27 cm
Green: 3 cm
White: 26 cm
Green: 5 cm
White: 29 cm
Black: 42 cm
At end of scarf bind off as usual; weave in all ends.
