Free Crochet Pattern : Bumble Bee

Bumble Bee is an easy project.
Completed bumble bee is approximately 6cm.
Materials you need:
A 3.5mm crochet Hook
Yarn needle
Yarn - Yellow, white and black
A pair of 8mm eyes
Abbreviations (in U.S crochet terms)
Sc - Single crochet
HDc - Half Double Crochet
Ch - Chain
St - Stitch
Sl - Slipstitch
Inc - Increase (2 sc in same stitch)
Dec - Decrease (1sc over 2 stitches)
Please note that the type of yarn used and the tension may cause variation in size.
We will be working in continuous round in this project unless otherwise stated.
Crochet Pattern
Body
Start with Yellow yarn
R1 : 10 Sc in Magic Ring (10 St)
R2 : Inc around (20 St)
R3 : [1 sc, Inc], Rep 9 times. (30 sts)
R4-6 : Sc around (30 sts)
Change to Black yarn
R7-10 : Sc around (30 sts)
Change to Yellow yarn
R11-15 : Sc around (30 sts)
R16 : [1 sc, Dec], Rep 9 times. (20 sts)
R17 : Dec, Rep 9 times. (10 sts)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Wings - Make 2 ( White Yarn)
In Magic ring, Ch 2, Hdc 6, Ch 2
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembly
Use the picture as a reference
Insert the safety eyes in the middle of the head
Stuff an appropriate amount of stuff filling into body
Close the gap, Weave tail through last round and secure with a knot
Sew the wings onto the body and sew a mouth.
Done!
You can add a bead chain or key ring and carry it around or use it as a bag charm
